Keri Smith

Keri Smith è una Guerilla artist, nordamericana, autrice del kit che ho trovato.
Il suo sito è : www.kerismith.com
Riporto qui alcuni suoi pensieri, riguardo la sua concezione della Guerilla Art.

GUERILLA ART IS A FUN AND INSIDIOUS WAY OF SHARING YOUR VISION WITH THE WORLD. IT IS A METHOD OF ART MAKING WHICH ENTAILS LEAVING ANONYMOUS ART PIECES IN PUBLIC PLACES. IT CAN BE DONE FOR A VARIETY OF REASONS, TO MAKE A STATEMENT, TO SHARE YOUR IDEAS, TO SEND OUT GOOD KARMA, OR JUST FOR FUN. MY CURRENT FASCINATION WITH IT STEMS FROM A BELIEF IN THE IMPORTANCE OF MAKING ART WITHOUT ATTACHMENT TO THE OUTCOME. TO DO SOMETHING THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MAKING MONEY, OR LISTENING TO THE EGO.

GUERILLA ART CAN BE ANYTHING YOU WANT - AN IDEA, AN EXPRESSION, A MOVEMENT, AN EXPERIENCE, AN OUTLET, A WAY OF CONNECTING, A WAY OF DOCUMENTING, A CHALLENGE, A FORM OF PLAY, A STATEMENT, A PERFORMANCE, AN ATTITUDE, A PRACTICE, AN IMPROVISATION, A RITUAL.

NOTHING IN LIFE IS PERMANENT, THAT EVERY STATE IS TEMPORARY AND TRANSITORY.  (...)
CREATING WORK THAT IS AN IMPERMANENT HELPS US RELEASE OUR OWN ATTACHMENT TO THE FINAL PRODUCT AND LETS US FOCUS MORE ON THE PROCESS. I CHALLENGE YOU TO MAKE PIECES WITH THE IDEA OF IMERMANENCE IN MIND.
